Description
The Taser Bolt 2 is a compact, civilian-oriented less-lethal conducted energy weapon (CEW) built by Axon for personal protection. Designed to give the user meaningful standoff distance from an assailant, the Bolt 2 delivers probes on a 15-foot tether, allowing the defender to stay well clear of a threat while the weapon does its work.
Once the probes make contact, the Bolt 2 delivers Neuromuscular Incapacitation (NMI) for up to 30 seconds of full-body lockup, giving the user critical time to break contact and escape. A built-in laser assists with aiming, while an integrated 210-lumen LED provides illumination for low-light encounters and helps with target identification before deployment.
The housing is molded from high-impact polymer in a clean white finish, keeping the unit lightweight at just 8.40 oz for comfortable everyday carry. As a TASER-brand civilian energy weapon, the Bolt 2 is intended strictly for less-lethal self-defense and is not a firearm or projectile weapon.
