Description
This Taurus Raging Hunter in 500 S&W Mag ships as a brand-new large-frame hunting revolver built to channel one of the most powerful commercial revolver cartridges on the market. The double-action/single-action action pairs a long 10″ ported barrel with a 5-round cylinder, sized for serious handgun hunting and big-game work.
The Raging Hunter’s 10″ barrel is cut with custom muzzle ports to help tame the punishing recoil of the 500 S&W Mag, then capped with a target crown for precise, accurate hits at distance. The barrel wears a no-glare matte black finish that matches the matte black cylinder, while the revolver is built around a matte stainless steel large frame for the strength magnum pressures demand round after round.
Target-friendly controls define the Raging Hunter line. A fixed front sight pairs with an adjustable rear sight for a traditional revolver sight picture, and the black rubber grip absorbs felt recoil and locks in a positive hold under heavy loads. The DA/SA action lets the shooter run the first round double-action before switching to a lighter, crisper single-action pull for follow-up shots.
Engineered for handgun hunters and magnum enthusiasts, the Taurus Raging Hunter 500 S&W Mag delivers full cartridge performance in a long-barrel, ported platform designed to be shot hard at the range or carried into the field.
