Taylor’s and Company reproduction of the C. Mason Revolver. With patentsfor the conversion of percussion revolvers, Colt employees Charles Richardsand William Mason cut off the cap-and-ball cylinders at the back andinstalled a conversion ring to accept cartridges. These conversionrevolvers were favorites then and are enjoying popularity again as part ofthe sport of Cowboy Action Shooting. This revolver has a case hardenedframe with blue finish. It comes with walnut Navy size grips, brass backstrap and trigger guard, Octagonal barrel and brass post front sight.
