The Timney Alpha Competition trigger is a premium drop-in replacement built for Glock Gen 3 and Gen 4 double-stack pistols chambered in 9mm Luger and .40 S&W. Part of Timney’s Competition Series, this straight trigger installs directly into the factory trigger housing with no permanent modification, replacing the stock polymer assembly with a precision-machined nickel and aluminum unit finished in gold anodize.
The Alpha Competition delivers a factory-set 3 lb pull with a crisp break and a short, tactile reset engineered for speed and consistency on the range. Internal components carry a proprietary Teflon/NP3 nickel coating that virtually eliminates friction for a glassy-smooth pull, and the shoe itself uses a clean straight profile favored by competitive shooters.
