Description
The Weatherby Select Plus line delivers premium factory 300 PRC ammunition loaded with a 180 grain Swift Scirocco bonded bullet for serious long-range hunters and precision shooters. The Scirocco’s polymer tip initiates high ballistic-coefficient flight, while the bonded core locks jacket and lead together so the bullet retains weight and drives deep penetration on impact at extended range.
Loaded to a 3025 fps muzzle velocity generating 3657 ft lbs of muzzle energy, this load exploits the 300 PRC’s ability to push heavy, high-BC projectiles at flat trajectories over distance. It is a natural pairing for rifles chambered for the 300 PRC cartridge, whether pushed for hunting or stretched across open country at competition.
Each round is assembled with new production, boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases and clean-burning, non-corrosive propellant for consistent pressure curves and dependable accuracy across temperature extremes.
Your purchase options:
- Box – 20 Rounds: Twenty rounds packaged in the factory box, ideal for testing the load at the range or topping off the safe.
- Case – 200 Rounds (10 Boxes): Ten 20-round factory boxes sealed in the original Weatherby case for stocking up on a proven long-range hunting load.
