Description
The Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian is a .308 Winchester bolt-action hunting rifle built around a cold hammer-forged 22-inch 2 contour threaded barrel finished in matte blued. The barrel is paired with a blued, drilled and tapped stainless steel receiver, giving the platform a uniform finish and a scope-ready mounting surface.
Barrel twist is 1:10″. The Obsidian ships without sights, leaving the receiver clean for the shooter’s preferred optic.
The Vanguard Obsidian wears a black Monte Carlo synthetic stock that is weather-resistant in the field. Fire controls include an adjustable two-stage match trigger and a 3-position safety.
The rifle holds 4+1 rounds at an overall length of 42 inches and a weight of 7.40 lbs.
