This is a Marlin rifle buttplate, marked Marlin, catalogued as 320202 and 320102 — the two numbers are used interchangeably.
Included: Buttplate and screws, the exact parts pictured.
Condition: Previously fitted.

Condition: Black plastic buttplate with checkered face and raised Marlin script in an oval panel. Checkering is sharp and fully defined across the face with no rubbing or flattening. Script and panel borders are crisp. Colour is even with a matte sheen, showing light scattered scuffs and a few small nicks along the edges, nothing deep. Both screw holes are intact with clean countersinks and no cracking or elongation at the walls. The reverse shows the original molding texture, a recessed panel and a small sprue mark, with dirt and light residue in the recesses from time on a stock. No cracks, chips or warping, and the plate lies flat.
