This Daisy Model 25 trigger and sear assembly consists of the 25T trigger and the 25R sear for the Model 25 pump action BB gun.
The Model 25 is one of the longest-running airguns ever made, designed by Charles Lefever and produced from 1914 into the late 1970s, with a reissue starting in 2009. Despite the trombone pump handle, it is a spring-piston gun, not a pneumatic: the pump stroke compresses the mainspring and the sear holds the piston back until the trigger releases it. That makes the sear engagement surface the part that matters most in this pair. A rounded or chipped sear nose is what causes a Model 25 to fire on its own as the pump handle is closed, and it is the usual reason someone goes looking for these two pieces.

Fitment: Daisy built the Model 25 across roughly six decades with running design changes, and the reissued guns are made in China to different tolerances. Parts from one production era are frequently not interchangeable with another, so match your gun to the parts by appearance and dimension, not by model number alone. The same mechanism appeared on store-brand versions, including the Sears Model 799. Sear engagement is the safety-critical surface in this gun. Inspect both parts for wear before installing, and function test the gun with the muzzle in a safe direction before use. As an airgun part, no FFL is required, though a few states and municipalities regulate airgun sales — check your local law.

Condition:
Used. Dark finish over most of the body, worn to grey on the upper surfaces and around the bearing faces. Light handling marks, no rust or pitting. Sear surfaces clean and square, no chipping or rounding. Pivot hole clear and round with no elongation. Rivet tight, internal lever present and moving freely. Trigger face smooth and undamaged.
