This is the Remington Sear Safety Cam, one-piece type, for the Remington 700, 600 and 660 with the Walker trigger assembly.
The one-piece cam is the original design, used from roughly 1952 until the mid-1970s, when Remington redesigned the part as a two-piece assembly. The two designs are not interchangeable, so confirm which your trigger uses before ordering. The 600 and 660 carbines share the same fire control as the 700, which is why a single part covers all three.

Does not fit: Trigger assemblies built with the two-piece sear safety cam, produced from the mid-1970s onward.
Fitting: This is a fire control part and should be fitted by a gunsmith. The sear safety cam works with the sear and the safety, so a part that is not correctly mated can produce a light or creeping release, failure to hold at cock, or a rifle that fires when the safety is moved off or when the bolt is closed. After installation, function check with dummy rounds or an empty chamber before loading: verify it cocks and holds, that the trigger releases cleanly and resets, that the safety holds and releases without discharging, and that closing and working the bolt does not release the sear. If the rifle has ever fired without the trigger being pulled, that is a condition for a gunsmith to diagnose rather than something to correct by replacing a single part.

Condition: Used sear safety cams in a silver finish. Edges and corners are crisp, the parts are straight and true with no bends, and the pivot holes are open with no elongation.
