This is the Marlin Glenfield safety 320381, the two-position thumb lever on Marlin’s older bolt-action rimfires.
The fitment runs wide because the safety lives in the trigger group and doesn’t care what the rifle feeds or fires. Clip-fed and tube-fed guns take the same lever, .22 LR and .22 WMR alike, and so does the single-shot Glenfield 15. That’s a different situation from the magazine parts on these rifles, which do split by caliber and feed type.
Glenfield was Marlin’s economy brand — the same actions with plainer stocks and sights, sold through department stores and mass merchants. The name was retired in the early 1980s and the models folded back into the Marlin line, which is why a Glenfield 20 and a Marlin 780 share a parts list.

Condition: Even black finish, intact overall with light scattered handling marks and no rust, pitting or flaking. Knurling on the thumb piece is sharp and fully defined with no rounding or wear from use. Pivot hole is round and unelongated with clean edges. Detent and step surfaces are cleanly formed with no chipping, rounding or peening. Retaining screw present and seated, with a clean unrounded socket. Original surface texture remains throughout. No cracks, bends or repairs.
