This is the Remington Nylon 66 disconnector pivot, for Remington’s Zytel-stocked .22 rifles.
The Nylon 76 on this list is the one worth noticing. Sold as the Trailrider from 1962 to 1965, it is the only lever action Remington is known to have built — a locked breech worked by a stroke of about thirty degrees, advertised as the fastest lever action in the world. Fewer than 27,000 were made against more than a million Nylon 66s, and the parts it shares with the rest of the family are much of what keeps the survivors running.
The 66GS is the Gallery Special, built for shooting galleries and chambered for the .22 Short. The 77 and the Mohawk 10C are the clip-fed members of the family. All of them run the same disconnector group.

Fitting: This is a fire control part. Have it fitted by a gunsmith and function-check the rifle on an empty chamber before loading. Confirm the disconnector resets, that the rifle fires one round per trigger pull, and that it does not fire on closing the action.
