This is the Marlin cartridge lifter, Marlin part 207187, the second variation.
Marlin’s catalogs show three variations of this part over the life of these rifles. The first was catalogued under model-specific numbers. The second was consolidated under 207187 and ran until 1980, and the third became 307287 afterwards. This is the second type.
Condition: Used. Bluing largely worn to bare metal, with surface rust marks across the part. Edges and mounting hole sound, working surfaces undamaged. See photographs.
Included: Cartridge lifter only, the exact part pictured.
Fits:
- Glenfield 60, 75 and 75C
- Marlin 99C, 99DL and 99M1
Does not fit rifles taking the first variation or the later 307287 lifter. Check your schematic before ordering.
Fitting: Have a qualified gunsmith fit this and function-check feeding before the rifle is loaded.
