This is the Mauser Kar98a rear sight spring, Imperial German marked.
The same spring serves the Polish Kar 98a built at Radom, differing only in markings.
Included: Rear sight spring only, the exact part pictured.
Markings: Crown over P, an Imperial German inspection mark, as shown in the photographs.

Condition: Used. Original finish is worn off the top face, leaving bare gray steel with mottled staining and some scattered pitting toward the rear; the underside retains its complete original finish. Imperial German crown-over-letter proof is stamped on the upper face near the rear, worn and not fully legible in the photos.
