This is a Ruger ejector rod housing, aluminum, black, with the large 1/4″ screw hole.
Ruger used two screw hole sizes on these housings. The Super Blackhawk, Bisley and some other models take the larger 1/4″ screw, while most Blackhawks and Single Sixes use a 3/16″ screw. Thread pitch is 8×40 on both. That makes the hole size the fitment on this part — a large-hole housing will not work on a gun built for the smaller screw.
Otherwise these housings interchange broadly between old model and New Model Blackhawks and Single Sixes.
Included: Ejector rod housing only, the exact part pictured.
Fits Ruger single actions that take the large 1/4″ ejector rod housing screw, including the Super Blackhawk and Bisley.
Does not fit guns using the 3/16″ screw, or the .357 Maximum and Vaquero Montado, which use their own housings. Check your screw size before ordering.
Note: All old model housings were aluminum. Some New Models were fitted with steel housings, though most remained aluminum — so a steel housing on your gun is not necessarily a sign this one is wrong, but compare before ordering.

Condition:
Used. Black finish largely intact with light scuffing and scattered handling marks. Bore clear, housing straight and true with no bends. The screw hole on the underside is damaged, with the surrounding metal torn and displaced; this face bears against the barrel and is not visible once the housing is installed. All other surfaces sound, no cracks or distortion. See photos.
