This is the Mossberg Sear, part no. R466, for the Mossberg 151, 152, 350K and 352 semi-automatic .22 rifles and for the New Haven built on the same action.
These are Mossberg’s .22 autoloaders rather than the bolt guns, and the same trigger group carried forward from the earlier 151 and 152 into the later 350K and 352K, so one sear covers roughly twenty-five years of production. New Haven is Mossberg’s economy brand, so the 250K is the 350K under a different rollmark and takes the same part.

Fitting: This is a fire control part and should be fitted by a gunsmith. Sear engagement is what holds the rifle at full cock, and on a semi-automatic a sear that is not correctly mated to the hammer can allow the hammer to follow the bolt down, fire more than one round on a single trigger pull, or fail to hold at cock at all. After installation, function check with dummy rounds or an empty chamber before loading: verify it cocks and holds, that the trigger releases cleanly and resets, that the safety holds in both positions, and that cycling the bolt by hand does not release the sear. Test-fire single rounds before loading a full magazine.

Condition: Used sears in a matte gray steel finish, with original machining marks still visible across the flats. Wear shows as mottled darkening and light surface staining over the sides, with the amount varying from piece to piece and no rust or pitting. Edges and corners are crisp, the parts are straight and true with no bends, and the pivot holes are open with no elongation.
