This is the Winchester 1200 Sear Assembly, used, fitting the Winchester Model 120, 1200, 1300 and 1500 XTR shotguns.
Winchester built the 1200/1300 pumps and the 1400/1500 gas autos around a common trigger group, and dealers still catalog housing parts — carrier spring, carrier plunger, safety — for all four models as one item. That shared architecture is why a single sear covers both the pump and the semi-auto side of the line.

Does not fit: Winchester Model 12, Model 42 and Model 37 — unrelated designs. We have not verified this part against the Model 1400/140 or the Winchester SXP (2009 and later FN production), so compare against your own part before ordering for those.
Fitting: This is a fire control part and should be fit by a qualified gunsmith. Compare the sear nose, pivot hole and spring leg against the part coming out of your gun before installing anything. Once assembled, function check the trigger group on an empty gun before loading: confirm the hammer stays cocked when the action is closed and when the gun is bumped, that the trigger resets cleanly between cycles, and that the safety functions in both positions. Watch for hammer follow, doubling and failure to reset. Do not load the gun until it passes.

Condition: No rust, no pitting, no blemishes. The arm is straight, the pivot hole is round with clean edges, and the rivet is tight with a bright, undisturbed head. The coil spring is intact with even coils and a straight tail leg, hook end unbent. The engagement surfaces show no rounding, peening or bright wear tracks.
