This is the Mossberg Maverick 88 Forend Assembly, 12 gauge, a one-piece black synthetic forend with the action bars attached. Maverick’s owner’s manual calls it the forearm/action slide assembly.

The assembly is self-contained. The bars are part of it, it uses no separate action slide tube, and it slides on and off over the magazine tube. The Maverick 88’s wood forearm (13483WS) is different: it mounts on a separate action slide. Mossberg’s number for the complete synthetic unit is 12354BL, “Forearm/Action Assembly, 12G, Blued,” and Mossberg lists that part as fitting both the Maverick 88 and the Mossberg 500. Some sellers list this forend under the number 12353.

Condition: Used black synthetic forend with the action bars attached, showing light handling marks and some light finish wear on the bars. The bars are straight and firmly attached, and the forend has no cracks or gouges.
