This is the Clerke First hammer nose, the firing pin, sold together with its pin, for the Clerke Technicorp revolver in .22 LR.
Clerke Technicorp incorporated in Santa Monica in 1972 and built these to fill the gap the 1968 Gun Control Act import rules left in the cheap handgun market. One frame served three versions — .32 S&W, .22 LR and a blank-firing starter pistol — so most internals carry across all three. The hammer nose does not. This is the rimfire nose, offset to strike the rim of a .22 cartridge, and it will not serve a centerfire gun.

Does not fit: the .32 S&W guns, which take a centerfire nose. The frame is shared across calibers, so this part will go into a .32 gun and will not fire it. Check the caliber marked on your frame before ordering.
Fitting: This is a fire control part and should be fitted by a qualified gunsmith. Protrusion and alignment determine whether the gun fires at all and whether it pierces cases. Function-check on empty chambers before loading.

Condition: Used, in the original blued finish, largely intact with the blue thinned to bright steel along the edges and across the angled nose. The striking face is unchipped and unmushroomed, with no peening at the tip. The body is flat with no bend, and the pivot hole is round and unwallowed. Light scuffing on the flats. The pin is straight and grooved along its length with clean ends. No rust, pitting or cracks.
