This is the Colt 1911 magazine funnel, black plastic, unmarked.
The funnel hooks over the grip screw bushings on both sides of the frame and sits behind the grips. That gives a wider mouth at the magazine well without extending below the butt or adding width at the grips, so the pistol keeps its original profile and still fits a standard holster. On a reload the magazine catches the funnel and is guided in, rather than having to be lined up on the smaller frame opening.

Fits:
- Colt 1911 and 1911A1 Government
- Commander-length frames, which share the full-size grip frame
- 1911 clones with standard grip screw bushing spacing
Does not fit:
- Officer’s ACP and other shortened grip frames
- Double-stack 1911 frames
Fitting: No gunsmith needed. The funnel is held by the grip screw bushings and the grips go on over it. Some grips need a little relieved from the inside face so they sit flush against the frame with the funnel in place.

Condition: Appears to be unused. No wear on the bearing surfaces or the bushing hooks. No maker’s markings anywhere on the part
