This is the Clerke First trigger, for the Clerke Technicorp revolver.
Clerke Technicorp incorporated in Santa Monica in 1972 and built these to fill the gap the 1968 Gun Control Act import rules left in the cheap handgun market. One frame served three versions — .32 S&W, .22 LR and a blank-firing starter pistol — with the works common to all three, which is why this trigger serves the centerfire and rimfire guns alike.

Fitting: This is a fire control part and should be fitted by a qualified gunsmith. Sear engagement determines whether the gun fires when it should and whether it fires when it should not. Function-check on empty chambers before loading and confirm the hammer holds at cock, that the trigger releases cleanly and resets fully, and that the hammer does not follow down in either single or double action.

Condition: Used, in the original bright chrome plating over a cast zinc alloy body. The plating is intact and bright across the trigger face and the flats, with light scuffing only. The trigger face is smooth and unworn. The sear engagement surface is crisp with no rounding or peening, the pivot hole is round and unwallowed, and the pins and studs are tight and unbent. No cracks, crazing or swelling anywhere in the casting, including at the thin sections around the pivot.
