This is the Rohm RG-12 Cylinder Stop, a used factory original part for the Röhm RG Model 12 revolver in .22 Long Rifle.
Röhm Gesellschaft built these in Germany, and after the Gun Control Act of 1968 blocked their import the company set up RG Industries in Miami, which ran until 1986. The RG-12 is the .22 Long Rifle double action with the 3-1/2″ barrel, a step up from the .22 Short RG-10 that gave the brand its reputation. Because production moved across the Atlantic mid-run, match parts against your own gun rather than assuming every RG-12 is identical.

Fitting: The cylinder stop controls lockup and timing, so this is worth doing carefully. After fitting, cycle the action slowly in both single and double action and confirm the cylinder locks into each notch before the hammer falls, with no play at the moment of lockup. If the cylinder is still rotating or free to move when the hammer drops, stop and have a gunsmith look at it.

Condition: Used. Original white steel finish. Coarse machining and casting texture across the flats and along the bottom edge, as made. Light surface oxidation, no pitting or scale. The pivot hole is clean and round with no elongation. Both raised lugs are unchipped and the part is flat, with no bend or twist.
